The conference will be held at the School of Geography and History of the University of Barcelona. This privileged venue is located in the Raval district at the heart of the city, close to the bustling Las Ramblas area, and within walking distance from the Mediterranean seashore.

The School was built in 2008 in an area that had been traditionally the heart of intellectual and artistic life in Barcelona.

The new School of Geography and History offers a variety of spacious conference rooms and classrooms for the panels, plenary lectures, workshops and events that will take place during the conference.
